Positive Energy
I am not a crossfitter....yet. It scares the crap out of me. But I do work out 5-6 days a week in a bootcamp setting with a group of wonderful people all different shapes and sizes and ages. Workouts are always better when there is a positive atmosphere. It's a huge motivator for me. When other people around me have a positive attitude, it creates a wonderful energy and vibe and makes workouts enjoyable. As a result, I feel great this morning after my workout. The weather helps. So...just want to tell you all to kick ass today!!! ***MMWAH***

Bad day
As I mentioned before I have been eating paleo for the last few weeks and today is the first day I am REALLY struggling. Frankly I am pissed off that people brought cupcakes to church and that there is rootbeer floats at this scout meeting I'm at right now. I'm pissed that I can't eat them. I know. I know. I know. But it's worth the effort and a minute on the lips is a lifetime on the hips. Blah blah blah.
So...I allowed myself a grain serving today and that seems to be making me less bitchy. Hahaha.
But today is a bad day. :-(
I'm a bummer. I know. I will be positive and upbeat tomorrow.

The problem seems to be because your browsers aren't set to accept third party cookies. I am not sure how to enable this on phones, unless there is a setting in Safari/Chrome/whatever you use.
Can everyone try to post a comment on this to test and see who is having problems? And if it doesn't work, can you try and find the setting in your browser to accept third party cookies an turn it on before trying again?

Not Fair!
I have a HUGE handicap people. I work in a restaurant where I am surrounded by delicious free food and free booze. I am constantly tempted but always stay strong. Beating all of u will feel that much better knowing I had to be stronger
Greens and Proteins
If you haven't tried Greens and Proteins...you really need to. It's the perfect place to eat paleo. This is my 5th meal today. No way I can eat all of it.

Points clarification
Hersh, can you see who all has signed in? I want to make sure everybody got the email. Here's a clarification for you:
For a perfectly Paleo meal, you receive 3 points, 15 points max daily. You should be getting 15 points a day if you are not cheating (3 meals and 2 snacks). IF you decide to have A 6th meal and its a cheat meal, subtract 3 points from your total. For example: if you have 5 perfect meals then you cave and have an ice cream sundae, your food points for the day would be 12. If you have 4 meals and your 5th is a piece of cake, you have 12 points for the day. Basically if you have a cheat meal, its costing you 3 points. I didn't put it in the log sheet that way because it confused people last year. Please let me know if you have any questions.

What up bitches!!
I have been eating a mostly paleo diet for a few weeks and am excited about being 100% paleo now. I'm also very excited to take all of your money because I'm finna win this challenge!!
Like Hersh...smoothies in the mornings are my saving grace....that and Greens and Proteins. Both are heaven sent.
I will post any tips or recipes as I go. I look forward to yours as well.

I just downloaded the app too. Very easy even for me. How is everyone's first couple days going ?
Breakfast
I meant to take a picture of all the garbage I jam into my blender each morning for my smoothies, but in my fervor to get out the door I forgot and ate/drank it. I know breakfast is hard for some people and it certainly is for me, which is why this smoothie is a life saver. This is what I use:
1 raw egg
1 banana
3 second count almond milk pour
Half an avocado
An eyeballed "handful" of frozen berries
Handful of kale
Handful of baby spinach
And for some extra flavor:
A few shakes of cinnamon
A scoop of almond butter
I've played around with many combinations, at one point putting sweet potatoes or broccoli into it (die) and this is my tried and true method.

So this is how this works. I will take a look at how to do things on mobile to see if adding pictures is easy.
Ok, if you download the Blogger app you can do everything from your phone. You'll have to make a Gmail account if you haven't already. If you are terribly fearful of Google, then i think you may still be able to comment on others' posts without a G account.
If you log on from the computer, you can go in and mess with the settings and stuff as well.
